This page explains what The House of Kamiar Rokni learns about you when you visit houseofkamiarrokni.com or write to us, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. We have kept it short, and in plain words.
Who we are
The House of Kamiar Rokni is a couture house with its atelier at 178-B, 2 Link General Sarfraz Road, Shadman II, Lahore, Pakistan. We are responsible for the information described here. You can reach us about anything on this page at atelier@thehouseofkamiarrokni.com.
When you send an enquiry
The form on our Contact page asks for your name, email address, telephone number, country, the date and kind of your occasion, the style you have in mind, and a description of what you imagine. We use these details only to reply to you, to arrange a consultation, and, if you commission a piece, to make it.
The form is run by Webflow, the service that hosts our website. Your enquiry is stored in our Webflow account and sent to our atelier’s inbox. If you write to us or telephone us directly, we keep your message in the same way.
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to answer you and to look after any commission, and for no more than two years after our last exchange unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires.
When you browse the site
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how long people stay, what kind of device and browser they use, the country or city they are browsing from, and how they found us. We also count two moments: when an enquiry is sent, and when someone taps our email address or telephone number. Google Analytics does not tell us who you are, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
To do this, Google Analytics places two small files (cookies) in your browser, named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code. They let it recognise a return visit. Google keeps this information for a limited period, no more than fourteen months, and handles it under its own privacy policy.
If you would rather not be counted, you can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on. The site works fully either way.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how people move through the pages: how far they scroll and where they tap, shown to us as anonymous replays and heatmaps. It never records what you type into the enquiry form, and it does not tell us who you are. Clarity uses its own cookies, and Microsoft handles this information under its privacy statement. Blocking cookies stops it too.
The site also remembers two things in your browser itself: whether you have already entered during this visit, so the opening does not play twice, and whether you have turned the sound off. These stay on your device and are never sent to us.
The services that carry the site
Like every website, ours reaches you through a few providers. Webflow hosts the pages; Google and Microsoft provide the two measurement tools above. The films and sound are delivered by Cloudflare, and some typefaces and scripts by content delivery services such as Google Fonts and jsDelivr. To send you a file, each of them receives your device’s internet address, as any web request does. Our email is run by Google Workspace. Some of these providers are based outside Pakistan, including in the United States.
We do not sell your information, and we share it with no one else unless the law requires us to.
Links to our Instagram and Facebook pages take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
What you can ask of us
You may ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Write to atelier@thehouseofkamiarrokni.com and we will answer within thirty days. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our site is not meant for children under sixteen, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
